The
following pages are dedicated to the West Hollywood Halloween
Celebration. Years ago, the city did not have an official
"parade of costumes" on Halloween, but in "boys town" the guys
started to close Santa Monica Boulevard unofficially and of course
people came from miles away to see the festive costumes.
After the City of West Hollywood was incorporated, the City
fathers saw that WeHo needed to close the street and have a full
celebration. Over the years, what started from a small
gathering to today, it is estimated that over 400,000 people come
to West Hollywood to celebrate Halloween.
Hope you enjoy your Halloween cyber tour.
